Overall, these light-up pickle balls are good with only some minor caveats. The whole point is to allow the fun to continue even into the night! I live near a pair of tennis/pickleball courts that are almost always occupied during the afternoon and evening hours. The lights are off at 9 P.M. every night at which point the courts become available to use. This is where these light-up pickle balls come in!First the good:- easy to see at night- decent weight and bounce that will not throw you off from standard pickle balls- long battery life + a good amount of included batteries if you only use one ball at a timeThe not so great:- proprietary battery design that needs to be screwed into the ball with an included tool.- susceptible to permanent damage due to overtightening of the battery which will cause the electrical contacts to bend and cause the ball not to light up anymore- batteries can only be sourced from the original manufacturerWith all that in mind, it is still a good product and I've gotten my money's worth of enjoyment out of them.
