This is a little different in the fact that the roller ball is hard. Can hurt in spots that have tight muscles. Even so it is effective.I am very knotty. This helps a ton, especially when I have another person knead the knots in my back. Much better on the fingers and hands. Rubber ring around the outside is great so the hands don't slip plus its just comfortable. Works greatLove them! They feel really nice. They really help with the knots in my shoulders.. and my kids think their fun!I'm pretty sure this is a knock off for the real thing. My friend had one and I loved it but when this one came in the mail it wasn't in any packaging and it seems smaller and not as nice of quality. Maybe for my exact type of pain or issue it simply wasn't the right device? I'm just mad at myself for forgetting about it and waiting too long to return it as now I'm stuck with it.
